Our first "float"* of summer 2023 on Bush Lake near Minneapolis in Minnesota. Not only was the water perfectly clear and surprisingly warm but the public beach was completely charming. I listened to happy noises from the beach and stared at the clouds for hours.
*float = what my husband and I refer to when we mean paddle boarding to the center of a nearby lake with a little inflatable tube in-tow and sit there, reading, talking, and most certainly, eating snacks.
