Cardinal (Print)
"Cardinal" — Print
Gicleé print on archival matte paper
Unframed
🖌️ About the original:
Acrylic on panel
4” W x 4” D
Painted in 2023
My husband unknowingly conducted a bird experiment recently in our backyard by putting out tons of bird seed — soon tons of birds AND other critters were stumbling over themselves to get a piece of the seed-pie — and they weren't all that nice to each other. The squirrels especially needed to cool the jets. As he tailored the seed and gave bird species space and soon all was right in our backyard animal world again. Needless to say, we've become a little obsessed with birds and find it a HUGE treat when a cardinal stops by for a snack outside our window. This whole story to say, "I painted this of a cardinal. Here ya go! A cardinal."
